The EuroJackpot is one of the most popular lottos in the world. It was launched in March of 2012 and is available online and in many different countries around the world. You will notice we describe EuroJackpot as a lotto instead of a lottery. This means the jackpot rolls over. It begins at €10 million and rolls over until it reaches the lottery’s jackpot cap of €90 million. Because of the popularity of the EuroJackpot and the similarity of the name to EuroMillions people often have questions. In this article, we would like to address some of the common questions that often come up about the Eurojackpot lotto. We hope this will allow you to feel comfortable and make your experience with EuroJackpot enjoyable.

How to play

Choose 5 regular numbers from 1 to 50 and then 2 additional numbers from 1 to 10. Your goal is to predict as many correct numbers as possible. If you guess all 7, you win the jackpot. There are 11 tiers under the top with additional prizes to be won. So you have a total of 12 tiers of prizes including the jackpot.

Lucky numbers?

Some people believe they have lucky numbers and if you believe that, you can play as you wish. However, according to the numbers that have actually come out as winning numbers, no single number has shown to be more likely to win than any other.

If you are not into lucky numbers, you may consider using numbers over the number 31. This is based on the fact that a lot of people use their birthdays as their selected numbers. We all know, no one has ever been born on the 32nd day of a month. This means the odds of these numbers coming in are slightly better than numbers of 31 or lower.

When is the pull?

The pull takes place every Friday at 19:00 GMT

Can you play online?

Yes! Buy EuroJackpot tickets online. This is the easiest and probably the most popular way to make your purchase, check your tickets, and look up any information that you are interested in.

Does anyone really win the maximum?

In 2018, a young lady named Christina M. was getting off work as a cleaner. She had been a loyal reader of eurojackpot.org and had registered just a couple of weeks prior at the Lottoland betting site. She had downloaded the free app on her phone. That evening she decided to place a bet on the EuroJackpot. She texted her Mum for help with the numbers and in a moment got a text back with her Mum’s “lucky numbers.” They were 14, 19, 21, 30, 32, and Euro numbers 4 & 7. Needless to say, Christina and her Mum had matched all 7 numbers.

Not only had Christina won the top prize, but she also set a new world record for winning the largest prize ever with an online bet! This bet became famous. This allowed Lottoland to achieve the Guinness World Records title for the Largest online gambling pay-out.

Christina made plans to quit her job immediately and her Mum had always wanted to move somewhere with milder temperatures.  Christina M. Chose to keep her identity private. We hope her winnings take her to wonderful places and wish her much success.

This is the basic information you need to know about the EuroJackpot. This should explain why this is one of the most played lottos in the world. All you need to do now is try it for yourself. You will find it quite easy and fun. Who knows? You could be the next big winner!
