With its Composable Commerce solutions, Astound Commerce can further transform its clients’ digital propositions by implementing custom technology solutions to provide consumers with a unique brand experience. The practice will leverage best-of-breed technologies, including commercetools, Vue Storefront, Algolia, Amplience, and Scayle.

Linebarger will lead the company’s composable and headless digital commerce efforts and report to Peter Youell, EVP, Technology and Solutions.

“Our goal at Astound is to transform the way consumers shop online and provide our clients with the latest technology to drive sustained business growth,” said Youell. “Will is a leader who has driven multiple industry firsts throughout his career, and we are excited to bring his knowledge and value to our roster.”

In his previous role as Director of Solution Enablement at commercetools GmbH, Linebarger served as the Solution Architecture and Development leader across North America. In this role, he had architectural or development oversight of 90% of the implementations in North and South America.

Prior to joining commercetools, Linebarger worked with companies including Accenture, Belk, Biztech, eBay Enterprise, and the University of Pennsylvania, among others.
