boohoo Group PLC, a leading online fashion group in the UK, has partnered with location technology company What3Words to enhance its delivery options. This integration will allow more efficient and accurate deliveries for customers across the group’s portfolio of brands, including Boohoo, BoohooMAN, Nasty Gal, Burton, Dorothy Perkins, Wallis, Karen Millen, Coast, Oasis, Warehouse, and MissPap.

One of the challenges faced by e-commerce businesses is inaccurate or inconsistent street addresses, which can cause issues for couriers and customers alike. For example, rural areas and large apartment complexes can be hard to find, and new builds may not yet show up on online address verification or navigation software. What3Words has solved this problem by dividing the world into a grid of 3 metre squares and assigning each square a unique combination of three words – a what3words address.

By allowing customers to add a what3words address in addition to their regular street address in their account profiles and at checkout, Boohoo Group can ensure that drivers know exactly where to deliver packages, getting them to customers as quickly and efficiently as possible. What3Words co-founder and CEO, Chris Sheldrick, notes that this will reduce frustration for customers and improve the overall shopping experience.

Boohoo Group’s focus on innovation and providing the best possible shopping experience for its customers has driven this partnership with What3Words. This technology is available in over 50 languages and is being used worldwide for leisure and work purposes. The news follows what3words’ announcement of its latest partnership with DHL Parcel UK, last week

The addition of a what3words field to the checkout pages of Boohoo Group’s brands will help to streamline the delivery process and ensure that customers receive their purchases with ease. By partnering with What3Words, Boohoo Group is continuing its commitment to offering outstanding value and service to its customers.
