Liberty is delighted to announce the appointment of Sophie Beresiner as the Global Head of Content. In this new role for Liberty, Sophie will oversee Creative Production, Editorial and Social Media teams and will report to Madeleine Macey, Liberty’s Chief Marketing Officer.

Sophie’s core remit will be to leverage all of Liberty’s incredible content across all channels with a strategic and global view as our ecommerce presence expands internationally. She will manage Liberty’s in-house team of content creators, who create all Liberty imagery and copy as well as the ever successful The Liberty Book – Liberty’s quarterly coffee table Magazine.

Sophie is an award winning journalist with over twenty years luxury editorial experience. An experienced digital and print editorial strategist, her skillset allows her to ideate and develop strong editorial strategy and establish a unique approach and tone of voice to a brand. Most recently Sophie led the editorial launch team of global tech media brand BURO.UK, previous to which she was Beauty Director at ELLE UK for 7 years.

Sophie also writes a women’s interest column for Sunday Times Style for which she was awarded PPA Columnist of The Year. She is co-author of best-selling beauty book Back Chat Beauty, and author of The Mother Project, published by Harper Collins. Sophie has established an influential profile as an approachable, practical product expert and has built a significant personal social media following.

Sophie starts in her new role on Monday August 2nd, and will be based at Lasenby House, Liberty’s newly refurbished offices, based behind the store.
