Lidl has announced a new Click, Reserve & Collect trial through its Lidl Plus app, giving customers the chance to secure Middle of Lidl products before they arrive in stores. The service will launch on Monday 7 April, starting with the much-anticipated Parkside Robot Lawnmower, which officially goes on sale in-store on 24 April.

Through the app, Lidl Plus users will be able to reserve the product for collection at their chosen store between 16 and 19 April. This marks the first time Lidl has offered a reserve feature for in-demand products, allowing shoppers to avoid missing out.

“We’re always exploring bold new ways to enhance our customers’ shopping experience and are pleased to be in a position where we can bring this latest trial to life,” said Jassine Ouali, Chief Customer Officer at Lidl GB. “We know how popular our Middle of Lidl deals are, and this trial will give our Lidl Plus customers the chance to secure a must-have item before it hits the shelves. We can’t wait to see how our customers respond.”

The trial comes as Lidl Plus continues to grow, with the app now used by over 100 million customers globally. The Parkside Robot Lawnmower, priced at £199 through the app, offers a significant saving of more than £150 compared to similar models from well-known tool brands. Customers can also reserve the accompanying Parkside Robot Lawnmower Garage for £24.99, offering weather-proof protection for the device.

Availability is limited, with both the lawnmower and garage offered on a first-come, first-served basis while stocks last.
