There’s no doubt that the UK is primed for another nationwide coronavirus spike, particularly with recent data suggesting that just one-in-10 Brits are self-isolating after being contacted directly through the NHS Test and Trace app.
This (along with the ongoing drive to protect citizens and optimise social distancing) has certainly had an impact on retail brands such as Radley, who initially took the decision to keep their brick-and-mortar outlets closed in the wake of the outbreak and only reopen stores on an individual basis.
However, it remains an exciting time for the brand, with new outlets opening in Glasgow and the launch of a brand new collection to whet the customers’ appetite. So, let’s find out more!
New Locations in Glasgow and Castleford
Radely’s Glasgow store recently reopened to the public, with customers able to browse the brand’s iconic range from July 31st.
Of course, the shop had been through something of a refit in line with new collections and updated social distancing measures, but there’s no doubt that this has driven renowned interest in the company and its product range.
Interestingly, this followed the decision to relocate the Glasgow outlet from Prince Square to Buchanan Galleries in March, as the brand sought to access a prime ground floor location with high levels of footfall.
August also saw the iconic British handbag brand unveil a huge permanent store at the Junction 32 shopping outlet in Castleford, following the immense success of the Radley pop-up store in the same location last year.
This made good sense, especially given the success that the brand experienced during their six months of trading here. With the new outlet, customers will be able to shop in a store that’s now twice as large, while accessing up to 100 more handbags at up to 60% of the RRP.
A Look at the New Radley Collection
These additions and new locations contribute to an exciting time for the Radley brand, but what’s interesting is that the company has also taken the time to develop and launch a brand new collection.
Referred to as the ‘From London with Love’ collection, this has been inspired by the UK’s iconic capital, featuring a unique range of work, leisure and occasion bags that have been designed to support us all in the wake of the so-called ‘new normal’.
With nods to everything from contemporary London architecture to the 1930s ceramic tiling that decorates all underground stations in the capital, this collection is like no other and sure to win the hearts of customers.
It also features influences from London’s numerous parks and the wildlife that resides within, creating an immersive and colourful range that will soon dominate stores nationwide.
What’s more, the brand is currently offering customers to win a handbag of their choice from the new collection, and you can check out the details of this here!
