Redbox Digital, a Magento Global Elite Partner, has partnered with Latest in Beauty, the UK’s fastest-growing beauty sampling & subscription-based service to deliver a new, online shopping experience for its ever-expanding customer base.
The new ecommerce site will see Latest in Beauty upgrade to the latest version of Magento’s cloud-based platform, Magento Commerce. The new version is expected to bring vast efficiency improvements, and will allow Latest in Beauty the flexibility and scope to create unique, differentiated branded experiences.
Latest in Beauty’s Managing Director, Charlotte Ashton, said: “Our business has grown significantly over the last few years. We reached a point where we needed external support to meet our strategic, business objectives and unlock growth opportunities.”
“We wanted to upgrade to the latest version of Magento Commerce and take advantage of the newest feature set and innovation to improve user experience and build loyalty,” Latest in Beauty’s Ecommerce and Marketing Director, Dean Smith, said.
Latest in Beauty turned to Redbox Digital to manage the platform upgrade. “We needed a capable and experienced implementation partner and looked no further than Redbox.
“We had worked with them in the past: they had implemented our first ecommerce site on Magento and supported the launch of a white label beauty box business with Mail’s YOU Magazine.
“Given the complex nature of the upgrade and integration requirements with our CRM platform (Ometria) and third-party storage, packing and shipping service, we needed a partner we could trust – someone who could get the job done,” said Charlotte
The new version of the platform will launch in February. Latest in Beauty are looking to extend its loyal customer base.
Dean said: “We have very happy, loyal customers and we want to recognise and reward them for their continued support.
“Our customer satisfaction ratings are high but we never want to be complacent. We are always striving to provide a more positive, enriched customer experience.
“It’s our satisfaction ratings, as well as conversion rates that will provide a marker for success for the upgraded platform,” Dean said.
The beauty sampling company has big plans for the future. This year, they will be launching a ‘refer-a-friend’ program. They are also exploring gifting options, something Charlotte says customers have been requesting.
For now, the UK market remains a key focus for Latest in Beauty. “As a business, we have always been driving innovation and leadership in the beauty sampling & subscription-based industry. There is a lot of untapped opportunity in the UK that we want to exploit and give our customers the best experiences with our brand,” concluded Charlotte.
