With over 224,000 bottles sold during the 14 days preceding the occasion on June 18, 2023, the company records an average of 11 bottles sold every minute. Fragrances continue to be a popular gift choice, particularly during this season.

Personalisation services also experienced a considerable uptick in June, with over 2,043 bottles engraved and 36,296 personalised ribbons sold throughout the month.

Andrea Rickard, The Perfume Shop’s Trading Director, remarked on the increase in sales. “Perfume is always a popular gift for Father’s Day. We’re delighted to see the growth in sales during this period, particularly as many of our shoppers are seeking value amidst a cost-of-living crisis.”

She further discussed the importance of careful selection when it comes to gifting fragrances. “Choosing perfume for someone can be challenging, given the vast array of options available. A thoughtfully selected perfume not only shows care but can also lift spirits, boost confidence levels, and make the wearer feel amazing.”

The Perfume Shop provides extensive support for customers in their selection process, both in-store and online. “Our in-store team of fragrance experts are ready to guide customers to their perfect perfume match. Additionally, our website features a ‘Fragrance Finder’ tool, allowing customers to quickly and easily discover new fragrances based on a scent they already love,” Rickard added.
