Trafford Centre has announced the appointment of Mark Kanaris-Sotiriou as its new Head of Operations. In this role, Mark will oversee the centre’s operations team, coordinating efforts across various functions to ensure the smooth running of the site. His leadership will be key to maintaining customer service standards and improving the overall visitor experience.
Mark joins Trafford Centre with extensive experience in the retail industry. His most recent position was as Area Manager for Poundland and Dealz, where he was responsible for overseeing field operations and managing projects related to property management, people development, and business transformation. Mark also spent 15 years at Tesco, leading teams across supermarkets, convenience stores, and fuel sites.
Speaking about his new role, Mark said, “Trafford Centre is an iconic destination with a fantastic team, so it’s a privilege to be joining the team. My ambition is to enhance all operational functions, and I’m eager to bring my retail expertise to a place I’ve admired for many years. My primary focus is to identify new opportunities and implement innovative strategies to improve operations and drive positive change for our visitors.”
