Wunderkind, formerly BounceX, the leading performance marketing channel that delivers one-to-one messages at scale, has announced the launch of a strategic integration with Klaviyo, the customer data and marketing automation platform that delivers more personalised experiences across owned-marketing channels.

The strategic integration allows brands and retailers to leverage Wunderkind’s ability to scale eCommerce revenue through high-performing, one-to-one email sends, while keeping both marketing and triggered email sends in the Klaviyo platform.  More than 100 mutual eCommerce customers will now be able to prioritise Wunderkind triggered messages within Klaviyo, sending a tailored message to the right person at the right time.  This improves revenue per customer while consolidating email data in one place.

The accelerated and sustained boom in eCommerce sales seen during the pandemic has prompted a rise in demand for personalisation in consumer buying journeys.  According to True Fit data, demand for personalisation is up +123% compared to pre-pandemic levels.

Despite this, original research of over 2,000 UK shoppers by Wunderkind* has revealed that during the last 12 months, over half (51%) of consumers have experienced more frequent marketing communications which were either impersonal or irrelevant.  Meanwhile, 70% said the branded communications they receive from retailers felt ‘batch and blast’ or generic, despite almost half (49%) saying impersonal interactions would make them less likely to buy, potentially costing retailers lost sales opportunities and loyalty.
