Redical, a real estate operator founded by Mikko Syrjanen and Petteri Barman, has expanded its senior leadership team with strategic new appointments. The company, known for its management of key UK shopping centres such as Victoria Leeds, The Liberty Romford, and Clayton Square in Liverpool, has appointed Rachel Bradburn and Oliver Lloyd as Leasing Directors for Victoria Leeds and The Liberty Romford, respectively.

Rachel Bradburn, transitioning from her role as Retail Leasing Manager at Hammerson Plc, brings her experience of introducing top-tier brands to the company. At Redical, her main focus will be to refine and enhance the leasing strategy of Victoria Leeds, striving to further establish its status as the leading premium retail space in Leeds.

Oliver Lloyd, who joins from his recent position as Senior Leasing Manager at Battersea Power Station, will leverage his expertise in managing high-profile mixed-use projects to develop The Liberty Romford. His role will involve enriching the tenant mix and broadening the scope of services offered at the site.

Furthermore, Redical has enriched its asset management capabilities by hiring Javeria Hussain and Daniel Tucker as Asset Managers. Both new hires have substantial backgrounds in asset management and leasing, with Hussain previously at Redevco and Tucker at Rivington Hark. They will collaborate closely with Bradburn and Lloyd to devise and execute long-term strategic asset management plans for both Victoria Leeds and The Liberty Romford.

Mikko Syrjanen, co-founder of Redical, commented on the new hires, stating, “We want to enhance the places we own to create dynamic and meaningful spaces for the people that use them, and to position brands at the heart of each destination. To do that, however, requires an exceptional team, and so we are delighted to welcome Rachel, Oliver, Javeria, and Dan to Redical. Each brings something different, but consistent across our entire team is the same passion, drive and commitment to creating, leasing, and operating vibrant, thriving urban multi-purpose destinations.”

Established in 2020, Redical has rapidly emerged as a tech-enabled leader in the ownership and operation of shopping centres and urban mixed-use estates across the UK. With a clear focus on strategic asset management, the company aims to transform its properties into multipurpose destinations. Redical’s office is strategically placed in London’s West End on Regent Street, underscoring its commitment to being at the centre of the UK’s commercial real estate development.
