A new retail concept called Future Stores is set to open on Oxford Street on Wednesday, 30th October 2024, creating 40 new jobs as the revitalisation of Europe’s most famous shopping street continues. The 435m² store, located at 95 Oxford Street, will span a full street block and merge media, retail, and digital marketing into one unique space.

Future Stores offers a hybrid retail media platform where brands from various industries can book space and showcase their products to the 1.3 million people who pass by weekly. This innovative concept allows brands to engage with a massive audience through state-of-the-art LED displays covering 400m² of walls and ceilings, which will captivate visitors and provide key data insights to those hiring the space. The rotating selection of well-known brands ensures that the store remains dynamic, much like a constantly updated social media feed.

Founder and chair Ariel Haroush emphasised the importance of choosing Oxford Street for the flagship location: “We looked around the globe to find the ideal location for our very first store. With a rich heritage, Oxford Street and London were always top of the list. As we move towards the opening in Autumn, not only are we delighted to create 40 new jobs, but also look forward to changing the face of retail through a concept that asks why the high street can’t be as dynamic as your Instagram feed – ever-changing, ever-engaging, and that is exactly what we plan to deliver with this world first.”
