Majestic, the UK’s largest specialist wine retailer, has teamed up with Just Eat, the nation’s leading delivery network, to expand its on-demand wine delivery service. The collaboration, launched today, will initially cover 43 Majestic stores, including 16 across London, two in Edinburgh, as well as branches in Sheffield, Derby, Abingdon, and High Wycombe. Plans are underway for the service to reach 177 Majestic locations across the UK by Christmas, making it easier for customers to enjoy festive wines and spirits without delay.
Using the Just Eat app, Majestic customers can now access a selection of hundreds of the retailer’s award-winning wines with delivery times of just 30 minutes. As part of this offering, customers will be able to choose from Majestic’s extensive range, featuring popular categories such as Champagne, Sparkling, Bordeaux, Loire, Italy, New Zealand, and Australia. Majestic’s exclusive own-label selections, Chosen By Majestic and Definition By Majestic, will also be available, in addition to an array of premium spirits and beers.
The new partnership with Just Eat builds on Majestic’s existing rapid-delivery collaborations, reflecting the retailer’s intent to support the demand for local delivery solutions. This demand has surged following the Covid-19 pandemic, which has brought a notable increase in Majestic’s e-commerce transactions. In the 2023/24 financial year, Majestic’s online sales accounted for over 20% of its retail revenues, buoyed by the popularity of its Shop Local proposition. This feature allows customers to view live stock at their nearest Majestic store for collection within four hours or next-day home delivery through a local Majestic van.

The strategic expansion will also enable millions of Just Eat’s users to easily shop from Majestic’s market-leading wine selection, accessible directly through the app. With convenience being a growing priority for shoppers, this partnership marks a significant step for both companies as they enhance their services to meet evolving customer expectations.
