Technology giant Apple has announced that it will open a new store in London’s Battersea Power Station on June 15. The news broke earlier today when the opening date was unveiled on the store’s barricade.
The new store is situated in a location synonymous with London’s history and iconic architecture. This launch is expected to mark a significant milestone in Apple’s expansion in the UK.
But Apple Battersea aims to offer more than just retail services. Starting from June 17, the store will host ‘Today at Apple’ workshops. These free daily workshops, led by Apple’s creative team, intend to provide educational experiences in various fields such as art, music, and photography.
To commemorate the history of the Battersea Power Station, Apple has curated two special workshops at this location. Visitors can sign up for an Art Tour or a Photo Tour to explore the power station from a fresh perspective. Registration for these workshops can be done via the dedicated ‘Today at Apple’ webpage: https://www.apple.com/uk/today/battersea/
Apple’s creative team, known as Apple Creatives, will be leading these workshops. They aim to inspire creativity, teach practical skills, and assist customers in utilising their Apple products more effectively for their creative projects.
The new store is located at Turbine Hall A, Circus Road W, London, SW11 8AL.
