Bloom Perfumery, the renowned London-based perfumery, has relocated to a larger flagship store in The Yards, Covent Garden. The move marks a significant milestone for the brand, which has grown substantially in popularity, requiring a new space three times the size of its previous location on Langley Court.

The new store, located at 4 Slingsby Place, spans 2,900 sq ft and is designed to accommodate Bloom Perfumery’s impressive collection of over 60 fragrance brands and more than 1,000 perfumes. With 80% of its offerings exclusive to the UK, Bloom Perfumery has solidified its reputation as the largest independent perfume store in the country. Specialists are on hand to provide a personalised shopping experience, helping visitors discover their ideal scent from the range of independent and niche fragrances.

Having called Covent Garden home for more than a decade, Bloom’s relocation to The Yards reflects its commitment to the area and reinforces The Yards as a premium destination for lifestyle brands. The perfumery now joins a curated line-up of neighbouring retailers such as Space NK, The White Company, lululemon, and Reiss.

A spokesperson for Bloom Perfumery commented on the move:
“Having outgrown our Langley Court space, it was necessary that we found an established location in Covent Garden to accommodate our growth in demand and evolving brand. Situated amongst a curated line-up of first-rate global and UK names in fashion and beauty, The Yards’ 4 Slingsby Place was the ideal next step for Bloom Perfumery where we could continue to flourish, allowing us to stock up to 100 carefully chosen brands.”

The Mercers’ Company, which owns and manages The Yards, highlighted the importance of the brand’s investment in the area. Jamie Thipthorpe, Asset Management Director at CBRE, said:
“Bloom Perfumery’s selection of The Yards to facilitate the next stage of the brand’s expansion speaks to the confidence that retailers have in the destination. Popular amongst locals and visitors alike, Bloom Perfumery’s unique offering and personalised experience introduces an additional reason to visit The Yards. Whether you are picking up a quick gift for a loved one or planning a full day out in the West End, The Yards’ all-day retail and F&B offering is unmatched.”

Bloom Perfumery’s relocation follows other investments at The Yards in recent years. These include new or expanded spaces for brands such as lululemon and Space NK, as well as the arrival of Nobody’s Child and Whistles. Looking ahead, The Yards will welcome Abercrombie & Fitch to its Long Acre line-up later in 2025, further strengthening the area’s retail appeal.
