Boots has opened a fragrance-only concept store in London, marking a new direction in its retail strategy with a boutique dedicated entirely to scent. Located at Broadgate Central, the standalone boutique launched on Thursday 23 October and offers a curated selection of more than 400 new fragrance lines.

The collection includes a mix of fine fragrances from luxury houses and niche scents from independent brands, with 20 names making their debut in the Boots offering. Among the luxury labels featured are Tom Ford Private Blend, Prada Les Infusions, Balmain, Guerlain, Maison Margiela Replica and Hermès. Alongside them are niche and founder-led fragrance brands including Gallivant, BeauFort London, TOBBA, Orebella, Lumira, Maison Louis Marie and Eris Parfums.

A dedicated space will showcase Floral Street’s signature fragrances, the British vegan and cruelty-free fragrance house known for its sustainable, flower-powered scents. The collection includes Arizona Bloom, a dry floral amber evoking freedom and sunshine; Ylang Ylang Espresso, a modern blend of florals with notes of coffee and Sichuan pepper; Wonderland Peony, a light yet sophisticated fruity floral filled with peonies and pink berries; and Wild Vanilla Orchid, a bold reimagining of vanilla with creamy, woody undertones.

The boutique space is designed around sensory exploration, with trend-focused discovery areas and immersive scent experiences. A team of trained Fragrance Specialists will offer tailored consultations on scent profiling and matching, supported by a range of guided experiences. These include a Signature Scent Experience to help customers find a personal fragrance match, and a Wedding Fragrance Experience designed for couples preparing for their wedding day.

Chelsey Saunders, Director of Fragrance at Boots, said: “Fragrance is deeply personal, and with our new boutique we’re creating an experience that goes far beyond the traditional beauty counter. We’re proud to bring together some of the world’s leading luxury fragrance houses alongside visionary niche and independent brands, giving them a platform to share their creativity and craftsmanship. By combining our first-ever boutique with nationwide access through boots.com, we’re making the world of fine fragrance more inclusive and accessible than ever before, offering choice, expertise and inspiration both in-store and online.”

In parallel with the store opening, Boots has launched a dedicated Fragrance Hub on its website to extend access to the new range across the UK. The hub features exclusive content, brand storytelling and product inspiration, with online ordering available via the Boots Click & Collect service across more than 1,600 locations.

The launch comes as the UK fragrance market continues to show strong momentum, forecast to exceed £2 billion by 2029. Boots has reported growth in fragrance sales throughout 2025, driven by new brand additions and in-store upgrades. So far this year, 11 new fragrance brands have been introduced and fragrance departments upgraded in nine locations, with further enhancements planned for 25 more sites before the end of the year.

The opening of the Boots Fragrance boutique forms part of the wider transformation of the retailer’s beauty offering. Since 2023, Boots has rolled out new store concepts including the Boots Beauty format at Battersea Power Station, redesigned 180 beauty halls, and trained more than 1,400 Beauty Specialists. With more than 500 beauty brands now available across channels and 30 new names added this year alone, Boots continues to expand its presence across the UK beauty and fragrance landscape.
