Charlotte Tilbury, the globally renowned luxury makeup, skincare, and fragrance brand, has unveiled a significantly expanded flagship store in Covent Garden. The move reflects the brand’s continued success and renewed commitment to the destination, where it first established a presence in 2015.
The new flagship store, now located on the prominent corner of the Royal Opera House and James Street, replaces the original boutique and offers a dramatically larger space. Spanning 4,300 square feet, the flagship is three times the size of the previous store and is described as the brand’s biggest Beauty Wonderland globally.
The store provides customers with a comprehensive range of Charlotte Tilbury’s award-winning products, including makeup, skincare, and fragrance. In addition to the extensive product offering, the flagship allows shoppers to benefit from expert advice and services delivered by the brand’s professional makeup artists.
A major highlight of the new flagship is Charlotte Tilbury’s world-first Skin Spa, which introduces a premium service menu featuring four benefit-led facial treatments exclusive to Covent Garden. Shoppers can also explore the Pillow Talk Bar, an interactive play table dedicated to the brand’s iconic Pillow Talk franchise. Hosting spaces such as the Pillow Talk Parlour and Charlotte’s Beauty Boudoir cater to masterclasses, influencer events, and private celebrations.
Michelle McGrath, Executive Director at Shaftesbury Capital, expressed enthusiasm about the expanded store, stating:
“Charlotte Tilbury has been a cornerstone of Covent Garden’s beauty offer since it opened in 2015, so we are delighted to announce that it will be strengthening its presence further with this latest upsize and relocation. The continual investment demonstrated from the beauty powerhouse is evidence of the strong collaborative approach between Shaftesbury Capital and our partners, and cements Covent Garden’s position as a leader in the UK beauty and wellness landscape.”
Charlotte Tilbury, the brand’s founder, also shared her excitement, commenting:
“Darlings, you are all invited to experience my immersive world-first beauty wonderland in Covent Garden! This really is the beauty store of the future – it has education, futuristic tech, instagrammable moments, themed worlds and bookable areas! Everyone will walk out of this beauty universe feeling like the most beautiful and confident version of themselves!”
The store’s opening reinforces Covent Garden’s reputation as a key destination for beauty and wellness brands. Alongside Charlotte Tilbury, the area hosts a diverse array of global beauty leaders, including Aēsop, Chanel, Creed, Diptyque, Elemis, Glossier, Guerlain, Jo Malone London, MAC, Miller Harris, NARS, Penhaligon’s, Space NK, and TOM FORD.
