Deliveroo has announced a partnership with Ann Summers, introducing an on-demand delivery service for a selection of sexual wellness products, specifically timed for the upcoming Valentine’s Day. Initially, the collaboration will offer 15 top-selling items from Ann Summers to customers in select UK locations, including Brighton, Manchester, and parts of London such as Canning Town and Vauxhall.

This new venture utilises Deliveroo’s rapid delivery infrastructure, particularly its Deliveroo Hop sites, to ensure swift and efficient service. Customers can access these products online or through the widely used Deliveroo app. The timing of this partnership is strategic, capitalising on Valentine’s Day, a key gifting occasion in the UK.

Deliveroo x Ann Summers

This collaboration with Ann Summers follows Deliveroo‘s recent expansion into retail through ‘Deliveroo Shopping’, launched in November 2023. This new service marked a significant development in Deliveroo’s growth, incorporating an exclusive partnership with Screwfix and broadening its retail scope to include a variety of products ranging from DIY essentials to homeware, flowers, and gifts.

Since its introduction, Deliveroo has successfully integrated a wide selection of Screwfix products into its UK delivery network. The company is poised to continue this expansion, planning to extend its partnerships nationally and diversify the product categories available for on-demand delivery. These future categories include pharmacy items, toys, pet care, and more, indicating Deliveroo’s commitment to evolving as a comprehensive on-demand retail platform.
