Deliveroo and wilko have announced a major expansion of their partnership, growing from an initial 10 pilot locations to 212 sites across the UK. The move comes just six months after the home and garden retailer first launched on Deliveroo Shopping, offering customers a new way to access everyday essentials with fast delivery and in-store pricing.

Originally rolled out in cities including Edinburgh, Bristol and Manchester with 3,000 products, wilko’s expanded range now includes over 14,000 items spanning home, garden, kitchen, DIY, cleaning, petcare and storage. Shoppers in locations such as London, Newcastle, Cardiff, Glasgow, York and Derby can now benefit from on-demand delivery of wilko products in as little as 25 minutes.

All items are price matched to in-store rates, giving customers a combination of value and convenience. The partnership has already proven popular with Deliveroo users seeking items like paint, decorative lights, phone chargers and DIY tools for quick fixes, renovations and everyday needs.

Suzy McClintock, VP of New Verticals at Deliveroo, said: “I’m thrilled that we’ve been able to expand our partnership with wilko nationwide so quickly. Launching over 200 new locations and thousands of new products fully price matched to in store, means together we’re benefiting consumers across the UK with incredible value and unbeatable convenience. It’s exciting to see these new areas of expansion take root for Deliveroo in 2025 as we continue to grow our retail offering.”

Alex Simpkin, Group CEO of CDS Superstores, trading as wilko, The Range and Homebase, added: “It’s fantastic to expand our partnership with Deliveroo and make sure that wilko is accessible to as many households as possible. The brand has a loyal customer following and we’re thrilled that we’re able to reach more shoppers via the app, ensuring that people can get their hands on all the great things you expect to see from wilko in just 25 minutes!”

The expansion supports Deliveroo’s broader strategy to scale its non-food vertical through Deliveroo Shopping. The platform already features high street brands including Boots, B&Q, The Perfume Shop, Accessorize, NotOnTheHighStreet and Ann Summers, as well as thousands of local independents.
