FatFace has opened a new store in Westport, marking the lifestyle brand’s first location on the West Coast of Ireland. The 1,571 sq ft store offers customers the opportunity to explore FatFace’s latest collections, alongside iconic pieces from its core range.
A key milestone in FatFace’s Irish expansion
The Westport store represents an important step in FatFace’s ongoing growth in Ireland. The company continues to strengthen its retail presence, following the launch of a new store in Blanchardstown last year, which was its first full-price store opening in 14 years.
Karen Johnston, stores director at FatFace, commented on the expansion, stating, “Opening our first store on the West Coast of Ireland is an exciting step for FatFace. Westport is a beautiful location with a strong sense of community, and we are thrilled to bring our brand to this part of the country. We’re confident that our new store will become a favourite shopping destination for locals and visitors alike, and we look forward to connecting with the Westport community.”
Job creation and employee benefits
The new store opening will create eight new jobs, with employees embodying FatFace’s core values. Staff will receive a generous discount, as well as access to wellbeing services, learning and self-development resources, and flexible working opportunities.
