The Blanchardstown store will create 12 new jobs, reflecting FatFace’s commitment to the local community. Employees at the store will benefit from a generous staff discount, access to wellbeing services, resources for learning and self-development, and flexible working opportunities.

FatFace is a well-established retailer with a significant presence, operating 180 stores in the UK and over 20 stores in the US and Canada, in addition to its expanded footprint in the Republic of Ireland.

Blanchardstown Centre, where the new store is located, is Dublin’s largest retail and leisure destination, boasting over 1.1 million sq ft of space. It attracts substantial visitor numbers, with an annual footfall exceeding 16 million. The centre has recently undergone extensive refurbishments, including a full mall upgrade, with further enhancements planned, ensuring a modern shopping environment.

The centre’s advantageous location, with excellent transport links including proximity to the M50 ring road and N3 motorway, eight miles from Dublin city centre, 15 minutes from Dublin airport, and access to 20 bus routes, supports high customer accessibility.

Karen Johnston, Stores Director at FatFace, commented on the new opening: “Opening a new store in Blanchardstown is an exciting milestone for FatFace. As we return to Ireland with our first full price store in over 14 years, this expansion not only allows us to bring our latest collections closer to our customers but also underscores our commitment to growth and innovation in the retail landscape. We look forward to welcoming shoppers to our new store and building meaningful connections with the local community.”

Sharon Walsh, Leasing Director at Falcon AM, asset managers for Blanchardstown Centre, also expressed excitement about the new addition: “We are extremely excited about the opening of FatFace. The new store responds directly to demand for a more diversified fashion offer from our catchment and closely follows several other great additions – such as Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein, and FLANNELS. We know our guests will be thrilled. Here at Blanchardstown, we are experiencing strong demand for space – reflecting the success of investment in the centre over the last few years, as well as the continued resilience of prime physical retail.”
