The Trafford Centre has announced the opening of a new Flying Tiger Copenhagen store, set to welcome shoppers on Friday, 14th February. The 1,500 sq ft store will be located on Upper Peel Avenue, featuring Flying Tiger’s core ranges alongside a special Valentine’s Day collection to celebrate the launch.

This new addition marks Flying Tiger Copenhagen’s 81st store in the UK and the first opening of 2025 for the Danish variety retailer, which operates over 1,000 stores in 36 countries worldwide. Known for its affordable, design-led products, the brand offers an ever-evolving selection that combines functionality and joy, making everyday moments extraordinary.

Flying Tiger Copenhagen’s commitment to sustainability aligns with Trafford Centre’s pioneering ESG programme, For Our Future. The programme aims to achieve Net Zero Carbon in Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions by 2030, reflecting the centre’s focus on ethical and sustainable operations.

The Danish retailer also incorporates sustainability throughout its value chain, from sourcing and shipping to store operations and product lifecycle. Its alignment with Trafford Centre’s green initiatives reinforces a shared commitment to responsible and sustainable business practices.
