Higgidy, known for their premium pies, are marking National Pie Day on 23rd January with their first-ever dedicated retail space – a Pop-Up Pie Shop. Located at 27 Goodge Street, London W1T 2LD, the shop will offer five of their signature pies at just £2 each, bringing a warming treat to shoppers in the capital.

The Higgidy Pie Pop-Up will open its doors at 10 am on National Pie Day, filling the streets of London with the enticing aroma of freshly baked pies. Aimed at pie enthusiasts new and old, the pop-up celebrates the nation’s love for this classic dish. With Brits spending over £1 billion annually on pies, the event is a timely nod to one of the country’s favourite comfort foods.

Higgidy’s mission for the day is to deliver a heartwarming experience for customers, offering a perfect escape from the January chill. A spokesperson for Higgidy explained:
“With National Pie Day falling near the end of one of the coldest months of the year, this presents the perfect opportunity to bring our warming, tasty, generously filled pies to cheer up Londoners and drive trial of the range, all while celebrating one of the nation’s favourite dishes – the Great British pie!”

A Visual Feast

The pop-up will not only delight taste buds but also catch the eye with its visually engaging design. Cascading pies will frame the shop’s exterior, providing an inviting display and creating perfect opportunities for social media content.

Inside, visitors will find five of Higgidy’s premium 200g pies. Handcrafted with buttery shortcrust pastry and topped with crumbles or seeds, the pies are filled with top-quality ingredients and bold flavours. The selection includes three meat and two vegetarian options, ensuring there’s something to suit everyone.

Supporting the Higgidy Range

All pies featured at the pop-up will also be available to purchase from Sainsbury’s, where Higgidy’s full range is stocked. The event aims to showcase the brand’s commitment to quality and innovation, while giving customers a chance to try the range at a special price.
