Hourglass, known for its luxury, cruelty-free beauty products, has launched a visually captivating new cosmetics counter at London’s Selfridges Beauty Hall. In collaboration with the agency Checkland Kindleysides, the counter reflects Hourglass’s commitment to blending luxury and innovation, offering a unique in-store experience.

Positioned as a centrepiece within the beauty hall, the counter is crafted from striking White Panda marble. Balancing bold geometric forms with an interplay of light, the high-contrast marble gives the counter a distinctive architectural presence that draws shoppers in and showcases Hourglass’s products.

A central feature of the counter is the Artistry Bar, where customers can receive complimentary, personalised beauty consultations with Hourglass’s resident makeup artists. This high-touch experience provides expert guidance, allowing visitors to explore products tailored to their preferences and style. The Artistry Bar enhances the customer journey by adding a hands-on connection to Hourglass’s range through personalised service.

Checkland Kindleysides incorporated elevated product displays with unique lighting to create a floating effect, adding a sense of refinement to the presentation.

The counter also features an exclusive gifting service, allowing customers to customise purchases with bespoke stationery items, from envelopes to ribbons and stickers. Referred to as a “Pandora’s box” of personalised options, this service enhances the unboxing experience, adding an extra level of refinement and making each purchase feel unique.
