To watch legal online football coverage of all top leagues in 2026/27, supporters must choose between Sky/NOW, TNT Sports on HBO Max, Prime Video, and several competition-specific services. Sporticos’ guide to Hesgoal alternatives offers the most comprehensive information on how to do this.
Live Premier League coverage in the UK is split between Sky Sports and TNT Sports. NOW’s new Football Membership starts at £23.99 a month, while the standalone TNT Sports plan on HBO Max costs £30.99 a month, making the combined cost for UK televised top-flight matches £54.98 a month.
That still does not include every Saturday 3 pm fixture, because the UK blackout remains in place. Overseas subscriptions and illegal streams are not legitimate ways around that restriction.

What Sky, NOW and TNT cover
Sky Sports remains the main Premier League broadcaster, with at least 215 live matches per season in the current rights cycle. It also carries the EFL, Carabao Cup, Women’s Super League and Scottish football.
For streaming, NOW is the most flexible Sky route. The Football Membership starts at £23.99 a month, All Sky Sports starts at £27.99, and a Sports Day Membership costs £14.99. NOW Boost, at £6 a month, adds Full HD on eligible content; Ultra Boost costs £9 a month where available. Sky Stream packages with Sky Sports are another option, but they usually involve a longer contract.
TNT Sports, now streamed through HBO Max in the UK, shows 52 Premier League matches, the UEFA Champions League, Europa League, Conference League and FA Cup coverage. The standalone TNT Sports plan is £30.99 a month, or £25.99 a month on a 12-month saver plan.
Prime, free-to-air and extra leagues
Amazon Prime no longer has a Premier League package in the UK, but Prime Video shows one Champions League match on Tuesday nights in each matchweek. Prime Video alone costs £7.99 a month; a full Prime membership costs £8.99 a month or £95 a year.
BBC iPlayer, ITVX, Channel 4 and S4C remain important for selected free-to-air football, including FA Cup ties, England internationals, highlights and women’s football. There is no streaming subscription fee, although a TV Licence is required to watch live TV or BBC iPlayer.
For European leagues, costs quickly add up. Premier Sports shows more than 340 LaLiga matches and costs from £11.99 a month on a 12-month term, £16.99 rolling monthly, or £120 annually. Disney+ carries an exclusive Saturday night LaLiga match, with UK plans currently starting at £6.99 a month after saver offers.
DAZN shows Serie A and starts at £15.99 a month on an annual contract, £25.99 monthly flex, or £119.99 upfront. National League TV on DAZN is separate, from £19.99 monthly or £129.99 for the season. Ligue 1 Pass costs £9.99 a month or £79.99 for the season, and Apple TV includes MLS for £9.99 a month.
