Eurofund Group has officially announced the addition of international clothing retailer Mango to Silverburn in Glasgow.
Set to open in 2024, Silverburn will incorporate the brand new 6,572 sq. ft fashion store, which will transform and reconfigure an existing unit. In addition to a brand-new façade and re-designed, contemporary shop fit-out for a superior customer experience, the store will carry the latest clothing, footwear and accessories collections.
Mango is one of Europe’s leading fashion companies and has optimised its footprint over the years, having over 2,600 stores in more than 115 markets globally, including two in Glasgow. As the brand continues to expand its presence in the UK, customers are expected to receive a variety of innovative and creative concepts mirroring the brand’s unique design language and commitment to greater quality.
Alberto Esguevillas, CEO UK Retail, Eurofund Group states, “The addition of Mango to Silverburn is a fantastic opportunity for both parties. Mango taking up a prime unit is emblematic of the centre’s continued strong performance, and we are delighted to be the brand’s latest destination of choice.”
Alex Coffey, UK Commercial Director, Eurofund Group adds, “We are thrilled to be working with Mango to build out an unparalleled offering and continue to serve the local area with a cross-section of different brands.”
The deal with Mango comes at a time when Silverburn has delivered additional improvements to the centre’s environment including a new children’s play area, enhanced seating and furnishing throughout and additional interior and exterior greenery. These upgrades are designed to enhance the customer experience and continue to elevate Silverburn as a premium destination for the whole family. This continued investment is a step in the centre’s journey to become Scotland’s leading retail destination, under its joint venture ownership by Eurofund Group and Henderson Park.
In the last year, Silverburn has also added a substantial number of new retailers and brands to the centre, including The White Company, Polestar and more. Its current fashion offering includes popular marques like Next, Zara and New Look, as well as multi-brand retailers including JD Sports and Flannels.
