Monsoon has announced the launch of its first travel boutiques at London Gatwick’s North and South Terminals, opening on Friday, 14 February. Designed to offer a relaxed shopping experience for passengers, the stores will feature an extended range of ladies’ beachwear, resortwear, accessories, and a curated edit of casualwear and kidswear, with select Gatwick-exclusive collections.

The launch represents an exciting expansion of Monsoon’s retail footprint, introducing a boutique format tailored to airport travellers. The brand has successfully trialled smaller boutique stores in UK high streets over the past two years, including locations on George Street in Edinburgh and Upper Street in Islington. With these openings, Monsoon now operates 25 stores across the UK and ROI, including 10 boutiques and three travel stores.

A natural fit for London Gatwick

The new Monsoon travel boutiques complement London Gatwick’s existing retail mix, catering to holiday travellers looking for last-minute wardrobe additions before jetting off. Passengers will be able to browse Monsoon’s signature fabric chandelier-adorned stores while selecting seasonal holiday essentials.

Nick Stowe, Chief Executive Officer of Monsoon, highlighted the importance of the new airport retail format:
