Eldon Square in Newcastle has announced that Oliver Bonas will open a new store this summer, marking the lifestyle brand’s largest site in the North East. The 2,809 sq ft unit, located in St Andrew’s Way, is set to offer a comprehensive range of fashion, homeware, and gifts.
The upcoming store will showcase Oliver Bonas’ distinctive aesthetic, including bold prints, bright colours, and contemporary designs. The brand’s product range features everything from statement accessories and the latest fashion collections to crafted homeware and unique gifting options. Visitors to Eldon Square will be able to explore a wide variety of curated lifestyle products under one roof.

The announcement arrives during a significant phase of transformation for the shopping centre. Alongside a refreshed brand vision, Eldon Square recently revealed plans for Freight Island, a 60,000 sq ft entertainment and dining venue scheduled to open in Autumn 2025. These developments form part of a broader repositioning strategy aimed at establishing Eldon Square as a premier destination in a city with growing international appeal.
Commenting on the expansion, Oliver Tress, founder of Oliver Bonas, said: “Newcastle is a city which embraces innovation, fun and individuality – all central tenants to our ethos. As such, the arrival of Oliver Bonas at Eldon Square feels like a brilliant fit and we can’t wait to expand our offering across the North East. As a retail centre which boasts impressive footfall, we look forward to engaging with the Newcastle community and beyond.”
Matthew Beddow, Senior Director at Pradera Lateral, the asset manager for Eldon Square, added: “We are proud to have been selected as the location for Oliver Bonas’ largest North East store. With its unique and exciting offering, we have no doubt that our visitors will relish the opportunity to shop at this quirky store. Our vision of Newcastle as a vibrant, modern and attractive city is made all the more possible, by the arrival of premium brands such as Oliver Bonas.”
