Primark has launched a 49-piece adaptive clothing collection, designed to make stylish and functional fashion accessible for disabled individuals and those with temporary disabilities. Created in collaboration with adaptive fashion designer Victoria Jenkins, founder of Unhidden, the range features wardrobe staples with inclusive designs such as magnetic zippers, tube-access openings, and waist loops to simplify dressing.
Available in 31 UK stores and via Click & Collect at 113 locations from 28th January, the collection includes trench coats, jeans, shirts, and nightwear, with options for seated wearers. Prices start at £12, ensuring affordability alongside functionality and style.
The launch comes at a crucial time, as research shows that 75% of disabled people struggle to find accessible clothing that meets their needs. 365 Fashion highlights how Primark’s collection addresses these challenges with an emphasis on affordability and inclusivity.
Ann-Marie Cregan, Trading Director at Primark, said:
“This collection ensures more people can find clothes that help them look and feel their best without the high price tag that often comes with specialist items.”
Primark’s partnerships with AccessAble and NaviLens further enhance store and product accessibility, making the shopping experience more inclusive.
