The Metrocentre Partnership has announced that British fashion brand Reiss will open a new 3,933 sq ft store in Metrocentre this November, expanding the centre’s premium fashion selection. The upcoming store will feature Reiss’s collection of menswear, womenswear, and accessories, bringing a focus on timeless fashion and elevated wardrobe essentials to Metrocentre’s shoppers.

Reiss’s arrival enhances Metrocentre’s already impressive line-up of high-quality fashion brands, including international favourites like Zara, Flannels, and Levi’s. Known for its contemporary, sophisticated style, Reiss will cater to shoppers looking for both classic and modern pieces, further diversifying the range of offerings at Metrocentre and appealing to fashion-conscious visitors in the North East.

Ben Cox, Director at Sovereign Centros, the asset manager for Metrocentre, commented on the significance of the new addition: “This signing is the latest demonstration of Metrocentre’s growth and its commitment to attracting international fashion brands. We’re delighted to welcome Reiss to Metrocentre as they add greater choice and premium quality to the most compelling fashion offer in the region.” Reiss’s opening reflects Metrocentre’s appeal to high-end retailers and its ongoing mission to bring best-in-class brands to the area.

This latest signing follows recent expansions at Metrocentre, including the arrival of Spanish brand Mango and a comprehensive refurbishment of River Island’s 25,000 sq ft store, further showcasing the centre’s appeal to leading fashion names. Metrocentre’s strategy has been to secure highly sought-after retailers, enhancing its reputation as a destination that combines regional appeal with an international retail presence.
