Popular Danish homeware brand, Søstrene Grene, is set to open its 45th UK store at Brighton’s Churchill Square Shopping Centre on Friday, 29th November at 10am. This expansion reflects the brand’s ambition to reach 100 stores across the UK by 2030 as part of its broader global growth strategy.
The Brighton store will feature Søstrene Grene’s signature hygge-inspired design, offering a cozy and immersive shopping experience. From soft lighting and classical music to a labyrinth-style layout, customers can expect a relaxing environment that complements the brand’s Scandinavian aesthetic.
The opening of the Brighton branch marks a significant milestone for Søstrene Grene, which currently operates over 300 stores across 17 countries. By 2027, the brand aims to expand to 500 global stores, with the UK playing a central role in this growth.
Joint Venture partners Norma Jacob and Richard Power, who oversee stores in the South of England, Northern Ireland, Scotland, and Wales, expressed excitement about bringing the brand to Brighton:
“We’re delighted to bring Søstrene Grene to Brighton, a city known for its artistic spirit,” said Norma Jacob. “As we step into the holiday season, we invite everyone to discover our collection—perfect for adding a touch of Danish hygge and Scandi-inspired style to the festivities.”
Richard Power added: “Brighton is the ideal location for Søstrene Grene’s 45th store in the UK. We’re thrilled to wrap up a fantastic year of growth by introducing Brighton locals to our unique homeware selection.”
