This autumn, the Spitalfields Estate is set to become even more bustling as it opens its doors to four new and diverse brands. Located in the historic heart of East London, Spitalfields continues to attract a mix of retailers and food operators, underlining its status as a prime commercial space in the city.

Swiss high-performance sportswear brand, On, has inaugurated its second UK outlet at 37 Brushfield Street. Spanning 310 square meters, the store offers an extensive selection of footwear, clothing, and accessories. A unique feature of this store is its Hybrid Explorer Display, a digital table that enables customers to instantly compare different shoe models by placing them on the table. The store also aims to be a community hub, hosting run clubs and other local activities.

Joining the retail landscape is London Ski Co., situated at 10 Market Street. Occupying an expansive 829 square meter space, the store specializes in winter activewear brands not commonly found on the high street. Brands like Hestra, Goldbergh, and Amundsen Sports are available, making it a go-to destination for winter sports enthusiasts.

On the culinary front, Pizza Guys, originally from Italy, have launched their first UK establishment. Their menu features traditional pizza flavours such as Margherita and Pepperoni, as well as unique offerings like Pizza Fritta (Deep Fried Pizza). Monthly specials inspired by global cuisines, like Korean Kimchi Pizza or Shakshuka Pizza, are also on the menu. Vegan options are available, catering to a broader audience.

Another food operator making its London debut is Grime Burgers. Known for their burgers made from 100% British Wagyu meat, the restaurant encourages patrons to try their signature grime sauce, either in a burger or atop a generous serving of chips.

Jason Dervin, General Estate Manager of The Spitalfields Estate, expressed his enthusiasm: “We are thrilled to welcome On, London Ski Co., Pizza Guys and Grime Burgers to the Spitalfields family. Each of the brands bring something unique to our offering at Spitalfields, ensuring that we provide locals, commuters and visitors a wide variety of shops and cuisines to explore. And with the festive season upon us, we welcome everyone to come and experience Spitalfields.”

These newcomers join an already diverse array of fashion, beauty, and F&B brands at Spitalfields, such as Astrid & Miyu, Rains, Coachtopia, Amazon Salon, Jenki, Townhouse, Ollie Quinn, Benefit Cosmetics, Malin + Goetz, Plant Warehouse, Arabica Coffee and Barber Barber.

The new brands will be part of the Lamb Street food hub, which currently features names like Dos Mas Tacos, Duck Truck, Ebby’s Kitchen, i-Thai, Smokoloko, and Wicked Fish.

In addition to these new arrivals, Spitalfields continues to support over 90 independent traders at the Spitalfields Traders Market, offering a range of contemporary and vintage fashion, music, jewellery, and accessories. The Arts Market in Crispin Place remains open from Friday to Sunday, providing a platform for both emerging and established local artists.
