Nottingham’s Victoria Centre is set to expand its retail roster with the addition of H&M this Spring. The centre, under the ownership of SGS and managed by Global Mutual with Savills overseeing property management, has confirmed that the Swedish retailer will be relocating from its current Lister Gate location.
The new H&M outlet is strategically positioned in the lower mall of the Victoria Centre, occupying the space formerly held by Topshop. The store, spreading over 2,177 square meters, will offer a wide range of products, catering to women, men, and children. Additionally, it will introduce H&M’s Home décor collection to Nottingham, a line that includes furniture, storage options, lighting, soft furnishings, and kitchenware.
This latest addition follows the opening of a Levi’s store in November and joins a list of established fashion retailers at the centre, such as Urban Outfitters, Superdry, River Island, and White Rose. The Centre also hosts prominent clothing and homeware brands like John Lewis & Partners and Next, reinforcing its status as a prime shopping destination.
Nigel Wheatley, the centre director at Victoria Centre, expressed enthusiasm about H&M’s upcoming launch. He stated, “We’re committed to providing our shoppers with the very best fashion and homeware brands, giving them access to both high-quality and affordable products – and H&M delivers just that. This is a significant new signing for us, kicking off what is shaping up to be an exciting year for our teams, and the centre.”
