White Stuff, the British fashion and lifestyle retailer, is set to open its first airport store at London Gatwick’s North Terminal in late November. This new 1,044 sq. ft. store, specifically designed with travellers in mind, marks a significant milestone for the brand as it continues to expand across the UK. The opening follows a series of new stores and concessions, bringing White Stuff to more customers in key locations, including city centres, retail parks, and now airports.

The Gatwick store will feature White Stuff’s latest Autumn/Winter and Christmas collections, as well as high-quality seasonal items like swimwear, summer dresses, t-shirts, shorts, and linen, ensuring travellers can find both holiday essentials and stylish pieces for colder climates. The store will also introduce White Stuff’s new mobile payment system, allowing customers to make purchases from anywhere in the shop, providing a more convenient and seamless shopping experience.

Located within the recently redeveloped North Terminal departure lounge, the new store is part of a £10 million investment by London Gatwick in enhancing its passenger experience. The revamped lounge features modern seating, flooring, and planting inspired by the West Sussex countryside, as well as a new orientation zone designed to offer a more personalised experience for passengers.

The opening at Gatwick is part of White Stuff’s transformation strategy to become a modern, multichannel brand, growing its presence across the UK. In 2024, White Stuff will have opened or relocated eight stores, reaching more customers in city centres, shopping malls, and now airports. The brand currently operates 123 shops and 54 concessions across the UK, serving over 1.3 million customers annually through its stores and website.

Tracey Verghese, White Stuff’s Trading Director, expressed her excitement about the new store: “Opening our first airport store is a major milestone for White Stuff, introducing our brand to many more customers every year. Our unique designs and quality fabrics will be a great addition to London Gatwick’s portfolio of brands.

“London Gatwick marks our 8th opening or relocation in 2024, as we continue to extend White Stuff’s reach and customer base. We can’t wait to meet all the travellers, especially those who may not have experienced White Stuff before.”

Bozena Stoiceva, Account Lead Speciality Retail at London Gatwick, added: “We are really excited to be welcoming White Stuff’s first airport store later this year. White Stuff is a premium British brand and will be a popular addition to the North Terminal, which has recently undergone a multi-million-pound redevelopment.

“We are delighted top brands continue to see the value of having a presence at London Gatwick, with our fantastic array of more than 220 global destinations and diverse passenger demographic proving a big draw.”
