Zebra Technologies Corporation, an innovator at the front line of business with solutions and partners that deliver a performance edge, will put retail data insights and The Modern Store by Zebra framework centre stage at EuroShop, booth A79/Hall 6, Dusseldorf, Germany from 26 February – 2 March.

“Zebra is passionate about supporting retailers’ growth plans and helping store operations executives address their most pressing challenges and the mandate they carry for rapid post-pandemic transformation,” explains Thomson. “Citing our visionary framework, I’ll explain how retailers can reduce product waste shrink rates by 27%, reduce employee turnover by 8%, and increase customer satisfaction scores.”

The framework leverages the capabilities of over 10,000 partners and complementary integrations from global tech leaders Accenture, Microsoft and Google. The framework will help retailers close the gap between planning and execution for labour, inventory and customer experience plans, giving retailers the ability to drive success today with the agility to forecast and adapt for tomorrow. The Modern Store Demo will be available to view every hour at the Zebra booth.

At a second Zebra workshop on Monday 27 February at 14.20 local time at the Retail Technology Stage, Zebra Technologies’ Pedro Roman, Director and Solutions Lead, EMEA and Simon Geisman, Senior Business Consultant, Personal Shopper Solutions and SmartLens, EMEA will share Zebra’s latest research into consumer behaviours from its 15th Global Shopper Study, and how these trends are pointing retailers to the future.

“Shoppers say they prefer getting in and out of stores quickly (76%) as well as a growing affinity (90%) for self-service technologies such as self-checkout or cashless payment,” says Roman. “Staffed checkouts are checking out, while self-checkout and mobile checkout deliver the speed and convenience customers expect. Associates and their managers can have more interaction with customers and more time to work with solutions that sense and record the location and movement of merchandise in a store and turns that data into easy-to-read actionable intelligence.”

Zebra’s team of senior retail executives will be available to meet at its booth in Hall 6/A79 with a range of hardware and software solution demos, including the Food Waste Management System (FWMS) AI solution for French grocery retailer Auchan. The solution is helping Auchan associates to save 35 million food products from going to waste per year. Spokespeople will also be able to talk about how Zebra and partners are working with customers including Kauflandbp Group Aral and Bonita.

Other demos will highlight Zebra’s solutions for inventory management and optimisation, personalised shopping, task management, RFID, associate communication and enablement, workforce management, employee self-service, supply chain visibility and warehouse automation. Around ten Zebra partners will also exhibit solutions at the booth.
