Arc’teryx will open its first brand store in Manchester in the third quarter of 2025, expanding its UK retail footprint. The Canadian outdoor company, known for its premium technical apparel and gear, has confirmed that the new site will deliver a hands-on customer experience that reflects the brand’s performance-focused ethos.

Designed to immerse visitors in Arc’teryx’s product innovation and technology, the Manchester store will allow customers to explore the brand’s gear in a setting that reflects its roots in alpine and mountain sports. The opening is part of a broader UK expansion strategy that has included several key retail launches in recent years.

The Manchester location will be the latest Arc’teryx standalone store in the UK. The brand currently operates stores including Piccadilly, Battersea Power Station, and most recently opened a flagship site in Covent Garden in early 2024. That store is the largest Arc’teryx retail location in Europe, covering 733 square metres over two floors. It also houses the first European ReBIRD™ Service Centre, which offers product repairs and supports the brand’s commitment to circular retail. Arc’teryx described the London flagship as a “hub for community connection, education, and engagement with technical gear.”

Arc’teryx was founded in the Coast Mountains of British Columbia, Canada, and the brand’s design principles remain closely tied to real-world environments. Its products are engineered with performance in mind and sold through more than 2,400 retail outlets worldwide.

The Manchester store will aim to echo the brand’s global retail direction—prioritising product education, physical interaction, and long-term durability. The company has consistently framed its retail spaces as extensions of its minimalist design ethos, offering environments that foster connection with local communities while showcasing technical apparel for outdoor use.
