Bang & Olufsen announces the grand opening of its new flagship store, situated on the prestigious New Bond Street in London. This latest addition to the city’s upscale retail landscape is not just a store, but a destination for audiophiles and luxury shoppers.
The flagship also plans to host cultural events, such as live music and art exhibitions, fostering a creative community.
Kristian Teär, CEO of Bang & Olufsen, shares the brand’s excitement about the launch, highlighting the store as a culmination of the brand’s rich heritage since 1925 and its commitment to delivering unparalleled audio and visual experiences. Customers can expect a diverse range of high-end products, personalized service, and an immersive environment that showcases Bang & Olufsen’s mastery in sound and design. “We are excited to open the doors to our new flagship store in one of the world’s premier luxury shopping destinations…We wanted to extend this feeling to our new London flagship store by becoming the destination where you can hear, see, and feel the magic of Bang & Olufsen, experience our products and unique heritage,” Teär explains.
The store spans three floors, each offering a unique experience. The ground floor invites customers to explore the brand’s range in an interactive environment. A sensorium on the lower ground floor provides an immersive sound experience, showcasing Bang & Olufsen’s expertise in acoustics. The first floor is dedicated to bespoke solutions and personalisation, where customers can tailor products to their preference, crafted in the brand’s Struer, Denmark factory. Incorporating local art, the store features a piece by London artist James Shaw, resonating with the brand’s focus on creativity and design.
