The Bluewater Shopping Centre in Kent is embracing the festive season with an array of new brand introductions and expansions, further enhancing the shopping and dining experiences for visitors. The centre, known for its diverse range of retail and leisure offerings, has recently seen the arrival of several new stores and a restaurant, as well as the expansion of existing brands within its premises.

Among the new entrants is Castore, a sportswear retailer, which opened its doors at the end of November. The store is situated on the Upper Rose Gallery, adjacent to Brown’s Jewellers. Castore’s addition to Bluewater adds to the variety of athletic and performance-wear options available to shoppers, featuring both men’s and women’s collections. The store also includes teamwear from collaborations with McLaren and RedBull.

In the realm of luxury accessories, Mappin & Webb has upgraded its presence within Bluewater. The jeweller has relocated to a significantly larger showroom on the Upper Guildhall, opposite the Apple store. This expansion includes a spacious Rolex room and a dedicated Cartier space, providing a luxurious shopping experience. The showroom also features branded areas for IWC, Hublot, Panerai, and Girard-Perregaux, staffed with specialists well-versed in the history and technical aspects of each brand’s timepieces.

Another British fashion brand, LK Bennett, has also upgraded its presence within Bluewater. Relocating to a larger space, LK Bennett continues to offer its range of women’s fashion and accessories in a more expansive setting.

Adding to the culinary diversity of the centre, Chi, a pan-Asian restaurant, will be opening shortly in The Village area, near Carluccio’s. Chi’s menu promises a journey through Asian cuisine, featuring dishes like Katsu curry, bao, and donbori rice bowls. The restaurant marks the brand’s first venture in Kent, set to open before Christmas.

In addition to these permanent additions, Bluewater has reintroduced several seasonal pop-up stores for the Christmas period. The Cambridge Satchel Company, for instance, has established a temporary presence on the Upper Rose Gallery, close to Starbucks Coffee, where their globally recognised bags will be available until January.
