The online fashion retailer shut all stores after acquiring the Debenhams brand and website at the start of the year for £55m. The final Debenhams stores closed around the UK on the 15th May.

The fast-fashion giant has recently signed up to a forensic supply chain initiative as part of the company’s attempts to improve its image, has seen sales almost double over the past two years. The record profits have been helped by the rapid shift to online shopping during the pandemic.
