UK-based card and gifts retailer Cardfactory has introduced its first nationwide Click and Collect service. Following the success of a pilot across 87 stores, the service is now accessible via the company’s website and app, and in over 1,000 physical stores across the UK. However, the service is currently not available in Jersey or the Republic of Ireland.

Customers can now choose from a wide variety of products online, including gifts, cards, personalised cards, and a select range of personalised gifts. The company’s online store locator tool allows customers to specify the store from which they want to collect their order. After placing an order, customers will receive a confirmation email when their items are ready for collection at the selected store. This new service offers a ten-day window for order collection, with no processing fee for orders over £10.

Cardfactory’s Digital Director, Sam Davies, commented on the launch: “Our digital data has shown that more people want to access the high-quality, affordable range of gifts and cards we provide with ease. The introduction of our Click and Collect service and ordering products at the click of a few buttons offers flexibility, more choice and adds an extra layer of convenience to shopping with us.”

Earlier this year, Cardfactory announced a tripling of its profits, aided by strong store performances and a resurgence of high street shopping. The company reported annual revenue of £463.4 million for the year ending January 31.

Davies further noted the potential for expanding the Click and Collect service: “The success of the new service presents the opportunity to roll out Click and Collect across even more of our range and in the future we hope to offer a next day collection option for those last-minute gifts.”

The free Click and Collect service for orders over £10 extends to a wide variety of products, including wedding cards, hen party accessories, Father’s Day gifts, and personalised items. For orders under £10, a £3.99 charge applies. Customers can collect their orders from any Cardfactory store in the UK, excluding Jersey. The company also offers assistance for customers who may need to extend their collection window or return items.

In addition, the company provides live customer service chat from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, and from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm on Saturdays.
