British precision sportswear brand, Castore, is embarking on a strategic expansion with the inauguration of its first upscale, bespoke flagship store located on Grafton Street, Dublin. Opening its doors on Friday, 2nd February, this launch is a pivotal moment for Castore as it gears up for significant growth in 2024 and beyond.
As the official kit supplier for the Irish women’s and men’s football teams and Leinster rugby, Castore’s latest venture finds its home at 34 Grafton Street, within the Grafton Buildings. This location places Castore amidst a bustling shopping district, sharing the vicinity with renowned fashion retailers such as Jigsaw and Sweaty Betty.
Spanning 1690 square feet over two floors, the store showcases teamwear from partnerships including Leinster, the Football Association of Ireland (FAI), McLaren, and Red Bull Racing. It also features Castore’s mainline collections, such as the Light collection and the recently launched Reiss x Castore SS24 collaboration.
The flagship store aims to be a pivotal touchpoint for Castore, offering both new and existing customers a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the brand’s ethos. Visitors can experience firsthand how Castore products are engineered for peak performance, marrying innovative design with authentic craftsmanship.
Marking the debut of Castore’s new store concept, the brand has ambitious plans to open an additional 24 stores across the UK within the next year. This expansion will also include a refresh of its current store portfolio to mirror the polished design of the Grafton Street location.
Will Clarke, Chief Merchandising and Operating Officer, expressed his enthusiasm for the new opening, stating, “As part of our growth expansion, we are thrilled to be opening our first concept store on Grafton Street. This provides a dynamic platform to showcase our products interactively. It’s an exhilarating time for Castore as we aim to sustain our growth momentum and establish the brand as a prominent figure in the retail sports market.”
Founded in 2015 by Liverpool-born brothers Phil and Tom Beahon, the Manchester-based Castore is celebrated for its high-performance sportswear. The brand distinguishes itself through innovative designs and quality materials, empowering customers to exceed their performance goals and ambitions.
