Dulux Decorator Centre, a leading decorating merchant with a presence in over 230 locations throughout the UK and online, has announced a strategic partnership with the last-mile, on-demand delivery network Gophr. This collaboration aims to broaden the scope of Dulux Decorator Centre’s recently introduced Rapid delivery service, promising sub-2-hour delivery times for a wide array of products including paint, tools, and accessories to its customers nationwide.
The initiative, launched in November 2022, has already garnered recognition, notably receiving a British Coatings Federation award for outstanding customer service. Through its alliance with Gophr, Dulux Decorator Centre intends to extend the availability of its sub-2-hour delivery service to approximately 71% of its customer base across the UK, operating six days a week. Furthermore, a more expedited 90-minute delivery option is set to be introduced in major city centres, significantly enhancing the convenience for tradespeople working on tight schedules.
This collaboration is part of ‘Gophr Trades’, a dedicated delivery service tailored for the construction and DIY sectors, designed to meet the specific needs of larger construction and trade-related businesses. The move reflects Dulux Decorator Centre’s commitment to adapting to the evolving demands of tradespeople, who are increasingly valuing the efficiency and cost savings associated with same-day, express delivery services.
