EE is set to open its new Experience store in Westfield Stratford City, following the launch of its flagship Studio in Westfield London last June. The new store aims to help the East London community maximise their use of connected technology.
This launch is part of a £6m investment by EE into the British high street, with ten Experience stores set to open this year. The Stratford Experience store will open its doors at 11am on Wednesday, 17th July, featuring an exclusive appearance from actor, comedian, and rapper Michael Dapaah.
The state-of-the-art store will offer customers access to EE Guides for advice and support, ensuring confidence in tech choices. The store showcases the latest immersive technology designed to guide customers through their connected lives across four key areas: home, work, learn, and game, with dedicated Experience Zones and a Tech Home area.
The Welcome Zone features a digital window canvas, allowing customers to view the latest product launches and in-store offers before stepping inside. The Gaming Zone is equipped with the latest games and consoles, enhancing the in-store gaming experience, with EE Guides providing expert advice on bundles and plans.
At Basecamp, customers can sit at work benches and collaborative worktops to catch up on emails or discuss products, services, and repairs with EE Guides while enjoying complimentary coffee. The Tech Live area allows consumers to test the newest tech before purchase, with regularly refreshed displays where visitors can browse, receive personalised product recommendations from EE Guides, and buy online.
The Tech Home area brings the future of the connected home to life, enabling shoppers to visualise their smart home setup. This area includes the latest in connected tech and online security tools to enhance the working-from-home experience, with super-fast broadband solutions, a smart TV, and connected speakers on display.
