What if every step you took had a story behind it?
What Hero Flooring does is turn those stories into something real. As an authorized licensee of Nike Grind, Hero Flooring produces rubber flooring made with Nike Grind rubber—crafted from recycled, end-of-life athletic shoes.

So, what is Nike Grind?
Nike Grind began as a grassroots initiative in 1992 to repurpose shoes headed for landfills. Today, it’s a global sustainability program helping transform manufacturing scrap and end-of-life shoes into recycled Nike Grind materials. It’s all part of Nike’s vision for a circular future.
Since 1992, 148 million pounds of Nike Grind have been recycled into products made by Nike Grind licensees—including Hero Flooring.

‘Hero Rubber made with Nike Grind’ is Hero Flooring’s product line of high-performance rubber flooring made using Nike Grind rubber. The program includes seven unique collections, incorporating up to 90% Nike Grind rubber from recycled, end-of-life athletic shoes—transformed into high-performance rubber flooring.
‘Hero Rubber made with Nike Grind’ contains zero tires, which means zero tire odor. The product line is Red List Free certified, features a third-party verified and published Environmental Product Declaration (EPD), and is FloorScore Certified for indoor air quality.
With seven distinct collections, the ‘Hero Rubber made with Nike Grind’ product line offers high-performance rubber flooring solutions for a wide range of commercial environments—including fitness facilities, educational spaces, retail spaces, and more.

The collections are:
- Original – 30% Nike Grind rubber, 70% EPDM
- Razzo – 65% Nike Grind rubber, 35% EPDM
- 3Force – 25% Nike Grind rubber, 65% EPDM, 10% Cork

What makes them special isn’t just how they’re made, it’s what they represent. Old shoes that could have ran miles or made plays are now part of something new and do not sit in a landfill. They keep moving, just in a different way.
