Under Armour recently opened a new store at Outlet Shopping at The O2, overseen by Waterfront Limited Partnership, a collaboration between AEG and Crosstree Real Estate Partners. The store’s opening is part of a continuing trend of retail growth at the destination, particularly highlighted by increased sales during the Black Friday weekend.

Located on the lower level of Outlet Shopping at The O2, the new 3,949 sq ft Under Armour store is placed near established sportswear retailers Nike, New Balance, and adidas. The store showcases Under Armour’s Factory House retail concept and features a range of sportswear, footwear, and accessories.

The inauguration of Under Armour’s store coincided with Outlet Shopping at The O2 experiencing a 27% rise in sales compared to the same period in 2022, during the Black Friday weekend. This boost in sales was further augmented by the recent expansions of Calvin Klein and Levi’s stores, contributing to an overall increase of 28% in sales at the destination. Notably, the fashion and homeware sectors showed substantial growth, with sales up by 31% and 62% respectively.

Louisa Dalgleish, Leasing Director at Outlet Shopping at The O2, commented on the new addition to their retail mix: “Outlet Shopping at The O2 continues to raise the bar for what retail outlets can achieve, both in terms of a varied tenant mix and strong sales performance. Key to our success is ensuring that we’re listening to what our customers want and delivering on those standout brands and product categories – Under Armour is a case in point. This opening bolsters our already strong line-up of household name sportswear brands, and provides consumers with even more of the choice they have been seeking.”

Additionally, Outlet Shopping at The O2 has expanded its offerings with the introduction of Better Brows, a beauty brand specializing in eyebrow and eyelash services. Established in Leicester in 2011, Better Brows has grown across the UK, providing a variety of beauty treatments. The new kiosk at The O2 is Better Brows’ 13th UK location, adding to the health and beauty segment at the shopping center, alongside Clarins, The Cosmetics Company Store, Beauty Outlet, and Āatma Aesthetics.
