Victoria Leeds, managed by Redical, has announced that Le Labo, a brand under The Estée Lauder Company, is set to open its first regional store at the shopping destination. This move by Le Labo to establish a presence in Leeds reflects a significant endorsement of Victoria Leeds as a leading city location for premium retail.

Founded in Grasse and later established in New York in 2006, Le Labo has developed a loyal customer base through its dedication to unique, slow-crafted perfumery. The new Leeds boutique, scheduled to open in July, will span four floors, operating as an interactive, artisanal laboratory. Here, fragrances will be freshly blended and personalised for each customer, exemplifying Le Labo’s philosophy of individualised and thoughtful fragrance creation.

The store will be located on Queen Victoria Street and will showcase Le Labo’s full range, including its core collection of 19 gender-neutral perfumes and 12 candles, along with body, hair, face care products, and a grooming line. Each product is custom-made with a personalised label indicating the date, place of formulation, and a customer-selected message, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to bespoke quality.

Le Labo’s expansion into Victoria Leeds is part of its broader strategy to grow its presence in globally recognised, premium retail spaces. The brand’s decision to join Victoria Leeds aligns with its existing portfolio of boutiques and luxury concessions across the UK.

Rachel Bradburn, the newly appointed Leasing Director at Victoria Leeds and former Retail Leasing Manager at Hammerson Plc, expressed enthusiasm for Le Labo’s upcoming opening. “Le Labo’s focus on handcrafted, high-quality fragrances perfectly complements the character and premium tenant-mix we have curated in Queen Victoria Street and wider Victoria Leeds. Being the destination of choice for such a significant regional debut, is testament to our ongoing success at Victoria Leeds. We are thrilled to welcome Le Labo this summer, as we continue to further enrich the destination’s line-up of best-in-class brands,” she said.

This development follows Rachel Bradburn’s recent appointment as Leasing Director, where she brings her extensive experience in introducing prestigious brands like Coach, Polo Ralph Lauren, and The Ivy to her new role, aiming to enhance Victoria Leeds’ status as the prime premium retail location in Leeds.
