Mappin & Webb, renowned for its exquisite watches and jewellery, has announced the opening of its new showroom in the heart of the luxury retail quarter on Multrees Walk, Edinburgh. The double-storey showroom, which opened on Friday, 7th June, offers a luxurious experience for customers seeking the perfect timepiece or piece of jewellery.
The new showroom follows the successful refurbishment of the Mappin & Webb Glasgow showroom last year. The ground floor features dedicated brand areas, including a space for Cartier to present its iconic timepieces, where clients can explore collections such as Tank, Santos de Cartier, and Ballon Bleu de Cartier. Other collections include the latest iterations of Panthère de Cartier, Tank Normale, and Baignoire.
Additional brand areas showcase TUDOR watches, featuring the Black Bay, Pelagos, and Royal collections; Breitling, known for its casual and sustainable approach to luxury; and Girard-Perregaux, highlighting impeccable craftsmanship with the Watches of Switzerland centenary exclusive Laureato timepiece. Each area offers a personalised shopping experience with the latest collections.
On the first floor, customers can browse a stunning selection of jewellery and receive expert advice on choosing the perfect piece for any occasion, including offerings from Pasquale Bruni and Mappin & Webb’s limited edition diamond jewellery. The floor also features a dedicated area for the Watches of Switzerland pre-owned timepieces and an after-sales service area.
The showroom includes an elegant bar/hospitality area, allowing clients to relax and enjoy a drink while browsing. This enhances the shopping experience, whether for a special occasion or a personal treat.
Craig Bolton, President of The Watches of Switzerland Group UK & Europe, said: “We are delighted to be opening a double-storey Mappin & Webb showroom in the heart of the luxury retail quarter on Multrees Walk. This is our largest Mappin & Webb showroom in Scotland, with two floors of the finest Swiss timepieces and luxury jewellery collections. We look forward to welcoming new and existing clients to this fantastic new showroom.”
Adam Stone, Head of Retail Asset Management UK at Nuveen, added: “The arrival of Mappin & Webb is extremely exciting, and we are delighted that the retailer has chosen Multrees Walk Edinburgh for their latest and largest boutique in Scotland. With designated watch and jewellery areas, a private hospitality and VIP area, a pre-owned watch gallery, and a large after-sales area, the new store will enrich the Multrees Walk luxury shopping experience even further.”
