Papa Johns UK has announced an extension of its partnership with Uber Direct, the white-label delivery service from Uber, in a move designed to enhance delivery operations and improve customer experience.
The renewed agreement builds on a relationship that began in April 2024 and will see Uber Direct become the exclusive provider for deliveries placed via Papa Johns’ website and app. The service will utilise the same technology and courier infrastructure that supports Uber Eats, ensuring consistent delivery standards across the board.

The collaboration forms part of Papa Johns’ broader Delivery-as-a-Service (DaaS) model, which has already delivered tangible improvements. Since launch, the brand has recorded faster delivery times, improved reliability, and higher levels of customer satisfaction across its 450 UK restaurants.
Lee Leadbeatter, Director, International Operations Excellence at Papa Johns UK, commented:
“Since partnering with Uber Direct and launching our Delivery-as-a-Service model, we have seen a noticeable uplift in operational efficiency, customer satisfaction and service. The integration has enabled us to expand our delivery reach, improve our service times, and maintain our high standards of quality, whilst delivering our pizzas Hot and Fresh.”
Customers ordering through Papa Johns’ digital platforms will continue to earn Papa Dough loyalty rewards and benefit from reliable delivery, now powered exclusively by Uber Direct’s logistics network.
Serge Abdel Hak, Food Delivery Lead at Uber Direct, said:
“We’re thrilled to continue our partnership with Papa Johns UK. Together, we’ve built a reliable delivery model that not only drives cost savings and operational efficiencies, but also upholds Papa Johns’ customer guarantees. We’re proud of what we’ve achieved together and the success Papa Johns UK has seen as a result.”
The move signals a broader shift in retail and QSR logistics, where Delivery-as-a-Service partnerships are increasingly being adopted to optimise fulfilment and meet customer expectations for speed and convenience.
