The shopping centre benefits from a strong annual footfall of 13.6 million visitors and enjoys a dwell time 21% higher than comparable benchmarks, enhancing its appeal to retailers. The location also serves as a leading satellite shopping destination for London, offering a significant retail spend opportunity.

Oliver Lloyd, Leasing Director at Redical, commented on the new opening:
“Rituals opening at The Liberty Romford symbolises the start of the destination’s retail elevation and marks the first of many exciting brands to join the scheme. Under Redical’s ownership and leadership, we are able to fully unlock the potential of the destination by enhancing the tenant mix and enriching customer experiences. Rituals is a fantastic brand to welcome to the destination and signifies to the market that our transformation is well under way!”

The announcement comes shortly after the opening of a Christmas pop-up activation by global lifestyle and pop culture retailer, MINISO. These developments indicate progress in the shopping centre’s strategy to diversify and enhance its retail offerings.

Advisors Cushman & Wakefield and Green & Partners represented The Liberty Romford in the leasing process.
