Highcross Leicester will soon welcome a new addition to its beauty and lifestyle portfolio with the launch of a Rituals store scheduled for July. The Dutch-founded wellbeing brand is set to bring its complete offering of body and home care products to the Leicester shopping centre in a 2,300 sq ft retail unit.

The opening represents the latest move in Rituals’ continued expansion across the UK, Europe, and Asia. With over 1,150 stores globally, the brand has chosen Highcross as part of its strategic rollout, aiming to offer more customers an immersive experience rooted in relaxation and self-care. The store will be located near Zara, and Therapie on the centre’s upper mall.

Designed to serve as more than just a retail outlet, the new space will include immersive elements and curated rituals that encourage reflection and mindfulness. Decorated with sakura cherry blossom branches and infused with signature scents, the store environment has been developed to offer a calm and considered contrast to the bustle of Leicester city centre.

The full range of Rituals collections will be available at the Highcross location, including bestsellers such as The Ritual of Sakura and The Ritual of Ayurveda. In response to popular demand, the newly introduced Rituals of Yozakura will also become a permanent feature on the shelves. Product lines range from foaming shower gels and body care items to scented candles, home fragrances, and skincare.

Michelle Menezes, Centre Director at Highcross, commented on the upcoming launch:
“At Highcross, we’re not just about providing a shopping location – we’re curating experiences. Rituals offer something new and exciting, going beyond everyday transactions to encourage visitors to slow down, reconnect, and find moments of peace in their daily routines. It’s a fantastic addition to the centre, and reflects the high-quality brands we’re proud to welcome to Leicester.
Rituals is one of several exciting new arrivals for us, this year, and forms an important part of our ongoing commitment to bringing in-demand, experience-led brands to the city.”

Rituals will join a number of recent and upcoming additions at the shopping centre. Highcross has already welcomed Mango and is preparing for the arrival of Japanese dining chain Maki & Ramen, furthering its focus on lifestyle-driven, experience-oriented tenants.

The opening supports Rituals‘ broader aim to create retail spaces that act as sanctuaries, aligning modern innovations with ancient traditions to help individuals find balance and serenity in everyday routines.
